I'm going to have to say Timothy Dalton for this one. Not too impressive. From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, every actor to have stepped into the shoes of the world's most famous secret agent has his own dedicated followers, and while each actor's films maintain elements that we now associate with the Bond movies, the style of the films has changed radically on several occasions.

However he didn't really have enough darkness as much as a usual baddy would. In this film, we do not only see Bond duke it out with the vilest nemeses. This British secret agent never fails and always comes out on top.
